Primary Care Specialized Family Resource Developer: Egyptian Health Department is seeking a full time Primary Care Specialized Family Resource Developer funded through the Systems of Care Grant Project Connect 2.0. This position requires an LPN and the ideal candidate will have experience working with youth and families in the primary care setting and could potentially be co-located within that setting. Duties and responsibilities include providing support services to those families seeking services through the Egyptian Health Department and Primary Care setting. INTENSIVE CARE COORDINATOR
Egyptian Health Department has an opening for an Intensive Care Coordinator practicing High Fidelity Wraparound. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a human service related field (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation, Education). Candidate with a Master's degree are also welcome to apply. Two years of experience working with children or adolescents with serious emotional disturbance and/or co-occuring substance use disorders is required. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills, enjoy working with families, and enjoy community-based services. Duties and responsibilities include providing wraparound services to individuals and families with mental illness, coordinate and facilitate wraparound team meetings, assist with the development of crisis management plans, develop problem solving and self-efficacy skills among youth and family members and provide transportation as needed. COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATOR/OVERDOSE PREVENTION EDUCATOR: The Egyptian Public and Mental Health Department has an opening for a Community Health Educator to serve the lower 16 counties of Southern Illinois providing overdose prevention education and training. This position requires at minimum a bachelor’s degree in social services, health education, public health, or closely related field with preference for those with experience in prevention education.
Requirements include travel, outreach, community education and trainings, knowledge of community resources, collaboration with community groups and organizations, creating educational materials, and strong communication skills in diverse settings.
Individuals must demonstrate great cultural and socioeconomic sensitivity to populations served.
